It is interesting that the increases in clippings focus correlates with so much navel gzing inside the PR industry about "measurement" - bottom line is as a PR it is up to you to track where and when a piece might turn up - if this means an interview does not make it into print for six months, then so be it. Part of the nature of features is they can be held for a while
Considering PR agencies are paid to secure coverage, entrusting finding that coverage to the like of Romeike / Durrants and all the others is a bit like BP turning round and telling an oyster diver to go find an oil-field. Just not gonna happen...whereas the alternative is you keep a simple running log of interviews and just keep your eyes peeled. Of course that actually means PRs reading some of the publications...
